AC gov't to provide mental healthcare to 16 rescued individuals

ANGELES CITY – The Angeles City Government, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., on May 12 rescued 16 homeless individuals with mental health problems, and transferred them immediately to the Mariveles Mental Wellness and General Hospital for further treatment.

Lazatin asks DOH, IATF for modified ECQ in AC

ANGELES CITY – Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. urged the Department of Health (DOH) and Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID), to implement modified Enhanced Community Quarantine in Angeles City until May 31, 2020 to avoid surge of COVID-19 transmission.

19,724 senior citizens in AC receive cash aid, vitamin C

ANGELES CITY – Some 19,724 registered senior citizens in 21 barangays here have already received P1,000 financial assistance and Vitamin C supplements from the Angeles City Government, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr.

Lazatin distributes 169,784 seedlings, food packs

ANGELES CITY – The Angeles City Government, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., distributed 169,784 more food packs to all families in the city’s 33 barangays for the second wave of distribution.

The City Government also distributed organic vegetable seedlings per household alongside the food packs.

596 vehicles impounded; 1,893 licenses confiscated for ECQ violations

ANGELES CITY – Some 596 public and private vehicles were impounded while 1,893 driver’s licenses were confiscated for violations of the Enhanced Community Quarantine protocols on traffic.

In a report submitted by the Angeles City Traffic Development Office (ACTDO) to Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., most of the violations recorded were overloading, no wearing of helmet, and lack of driver’s license.
