19,724 senior citizens in AC receive cash aid, vitamin C

ANGELES CITY – Some 19,724 registered senior citizens in 21 barangays here have already received P1,000 financial assistance and Vitamin C supplements from the Angeles City Government, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr.

The other 36,091 senior citizens from 12 barangays will receive their cash aid and Vitamin C in the coming days.

Mayor Lazatin announced on April 7 thru an advisory posted in the City Information Office (CIO) Facebook page that all 55,815 registered senior citizens will receive assistance from the City Government, which are delivered thru house-to-house visits.

“E kayu pu migaganaka, basta atin kayu pung ID at registered senior citizens, makatanggap kayu pung ayuda,” Lazatin said.

Lazatin allotted P55.815 million for the financial assistance, and P20 million for the Vitamin C supplements of senior citizens.
