271 PWDs get P1-K cash aid, rice subsidy, Vitamin C

ANGELES CITY — Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. started to distribute P1,000 financial assistance, five kilos of rice, and 3-month supply of Vitamin C supplements to physically-disabled Angeleños on March 1, 2023.

The initial distribution covered the villages of San Nicolas (58); Virgen Delos Remedios (37); Claro M. Recto (81); and Lourdes Sur (95).

“Batid po namin ang pangangailangan ng bawat sektor sa ating siyudad at sisikapin naming matulungan ang bawat isa sa inyo,” Lazatin said.

Lazatin’s Chief Adviser IC Calaguas revealed that around 4,000 PWDs in the city will receive a similar aid which was determined by a meeting with Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) Head Vital, and Gender and Development (GAD) Officer Mina Cabiles.

“Lahat po ng sektor sa komunidad pupuntahan po ni Mayor Lazatin para hatiran po ng tulong pinansyal,” Calaguas said.

This is not the first time that Mayor Lazatin had distributed financial assistance for the sector as revealed by PDAO.
