1,260 city hall employees in AC get CNA bonus

ANGELES CITY — The Association of Government Employees for a New Dynamic Angeles City (AGENDA) led by Flordeliza Santos thanked the administration of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. for “setting the bar high when it comes to taking care of the employees.”

“Sa ngalan po ng mga empleyado ng city hall, kami po ay nagpapasalamat sa walang humpay na biyaya mula kay Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr.,” Santos said.

A total of 1,260 city government employees here – 915 permanent, 329 casual, and 16 contractual – received their ?10,000 Collective Negotiation Agreement bonus on December 19, 2024.

The CNA bonus had a major increase this year due to the city’s attainment of Seal of Good Local Governance.

“Tumaas po ang CNA bonus na natanggap ng ating mga kawani sa gobyerno dahil na rin po sa kanilang pagsusumikap na maghatid ng dekalidad na serbisyo publiko.” Lazatin said.

“Binibigay lang po natin sa ating mga empleyado ang nararapat, lalo na sa pinakita nilang serbisyo na naging susi upang makamit natin ang back-to-back SGLG,” Lazatin added.

Meanwhile, Santos also said that the efforts of Mayor Lazatin truly inspires the employees to work harder as he sets an example to provide better and quality public service to the people of Angeles City.

“Ang CNA incentives ay sumisimbolo ng tagumpay para sa mga kawani ng pamahalaang lungsod ng Angeles City! Ang benepisyong ito kasama pa ng ibang matatanggap ay napakalaking tulong,” Santos added.

“Damang dama po namin ang pag aaruga at malasakit ni mayor hindi lamang sa amin kung di sampu ng aming mga pamilya,” she added.

Further, the Service Recognition Incentive worth P6,000 will be released on December 23.

Last Dec. 5, 3,484 Contract of Service employees received their ?3,000 year-end gratuity.
