ANGELES CITY - Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. recognized the efforts and service of two Angeles City Traffic and Development Office (ACTDO) enforcers, may it be rain or shine.
Jay Guillermo and Francisco Baybayan of ACTDO were awarded certificates personally by Mayor Lazatin during the flag ceremony here at Angeles City Hall, September 9, 2019.
“We should always recognize the efforts and sacrifice of our traffic enforcers in maintaining and regulating our traffic situation. Rain or shine, they will be there to ease the traffic,” he said.
Guillermo of Sector 2, and Baybayan of Sector 1, were seen last August not leaving their respective posts. The former was designated along Angeles-Magalang Road corner Mining Road, while the latter was assigned along Pandan-Cutud Road.
A citizen took a picture of Guillermo and posted it on social media with a caption, "I salute this guy, rain or shine he doesn't leave his post. Already soaked with rain water still he manned the traffic. Will somebody please give him a raincoat? Taken at Angeles-Magalang Road corner Mining Road."
Meanwhile, Baybayan was spotted by OIC-ACTDO Marko Banola.
