ANGELES CITY – In pursuit of preparedness and preventive measures amid the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. is providing free shuttle services to the City Hall frontline workers as they continuously work for the welfare of the city.
The free shuttle services begin at 7:30 am, following two routes for pick-up points.
According to Lazatin, the free shuttle services aim to assure the public that all frontline employees of the local government are always ready to serve.
Mayor Lazatin also said the transportation services are for the safety and convenience of the employees.
“We aim to have a holistic and full approach to the COVID-19 through strengthening our preventive measures and preparedness. However, we can only do that if we ensure that our front liners are being supported and taken care of in the best possible way,” said Lazatin.
Moreover, Lazatin said that he is grateful for the continuous efforts of all the frontline workers who he considers as the backbone of the city in its fight against the disease.
“Our medical staff, traffic enforcers, police officers, social welfare officers, media personnel and everyone who has contributed in this fight are all equally important in this time. Without them we could not accomplish our pursuits in providing the best quality public service to our people,” he said.
