AC gov't supervises public road clearing

ANGELES CITY – The city government has conducted simultaneous random clearing operations in barangays San Nicolas and Sto. Rosario this morning, Aug. 7.

This is in accordance to Memorandum No. 030, Series of 2019, of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

The City Government, thru Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr., ordered the Angeles City Traffic Development Office (ACTDO), Angeles City Police Office (ACPO), City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), Business Permit and Licensing Division (BPLD), barangay council, among others, to conduct the operation, in line also with President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s call to bring back the sidewalks to the people.

Various tenants from respective markets in these barangays have already occupied portion of the sidewalks, creating traffic jams within the area. The Angeles City Government issued them a warning. Non-compliance will result to a violation.

Some violations include Dirty Frontal Avenue and no issuance of business permit.
