ANGELES CITY- The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has formally opened its newest branch in this highly urbanized city on Monday through the initiative of Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan.
The ribbon-cutting rites, held Monday, signals the formal opening and full operation of the NBI Clearance Center located at the 3rd level of the Robinsons Place Angeles. The said branch aims to cater on the increasing demands of clearances and other documents issued by the agency.
The mayor expressed his elation to this public and private partnership and initiative that will “make government services closer to the people”.
“This is yet another development in the city as far as government services is concerned. This will greatly help not only the Angeleños, but also our constituents from neighboring towns and cities, in saving time and money as they process their NBI documents,” said Mayor Pamintuan
NBI Regional Director George Manuel Jularval said that the new NBI Clearance Center will give more opportunities for the residents in the city to have better access to the frontline services offered by the bureau.
“Approximately, the NBI- main branch processes at least 500 clearance application per day. The residents at Central Luzon, especially those who are near to Angeles City, can now have the comfort of going to this satellite branch and process their documents instead of proceeding to the main NBI office located in the City of San Fernando,” Jularval said.
According to Irving L. Wu, Luzon Operations Director of Robinsons Land Corporation, there are currently eight Robinsons Mall Lingkod Pinoy Centers in the country with NBI offices. These are: Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Manila, Robinsons Cainta, Robinsons Metro East, Robinsons Novaliches, Robinsons Dasmariñas, Robinsons North East, and starting today, Robinsons Angeles.
The newly opened NBI Clearance Center in Robinsons Place Angeles is open from Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 6:00pm. Online registration and processing is also available.
Meanwhile, payments are accepted in designated Bayad Centers. Clearance will be released at the NBI-Angeles office.
