July 12, 2017 - 12:17 pm
The City Government of Angeles expressed its elation over the approval of the China Eastern Airlines (CEAir) to fly to Clark International Airport (CIAC).
CEAir will begin servicing the Clark (CRK) to and from Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) route starting October 18, 2017. The flight from CRK to PVG is 5 hours 35 minutes non-stop with a distance of 1,444 miles or 2,324 kilometers.
"This is a very welcome development. It is another feather in the cap of CIAC President Alex Cauguiran. The viability of CIAC to be the country's gateway for Central and Northern Luzon is once again strengthened with this additional route," said Angeles City Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan.
To celebrate their inaugural flight on October 18, CEAir Manila Office is offering a round trip rate of $18 base fare exclusive of taxes. The Travel Period for the promotional rate is between October 18, 2017 to October 31, 2017 only, and is subject to seat availability and specific booking class.
